4th of July in Quincy 2011

We loaded up the whole family for our first roadtrip to Quincy, WA for our annual fourth of July celebration.  The boys did great in the backseat...Oliver is in charge back there and its his job to tell us if the baby is sleeping or needs anything. The weekend was filled with fun in the hot hot sun: jet skiing, boating, water park, slip n slide, and the 4th of July festivities in George, Washington ; ) We watched the parade, saw a concert and ate some of the world's largest cherry pie. I surprised Mike with a romantic dinner at Cave B vinyard for our 7th anniversary, while grandma and grandpa watched Oliver and auntie Laura and uncle Andrew took care of Liam.  We had an amazing and relaxing night knowing they were both in such good hands.  It was nice having extra bodies to share in the considerable demands of taking care of a newborn and a very active toddler for a few days.  I even got a few minutes to read a book and to go for my first post-baby run : )
