I turn 33 today and while it is hard being a year older, Mike and Oliver have made this year extra 
special. My big birthday present wasn't really for my birthday but something Mike promissed me when we got engaged...a wedding band to match my engagement ring. We were in graduate school and he couldn't afford a wedding band at the time (he sold his car to buy my engagement ring!). I love it!

Then on Friday he came home early from work with flowers and on Saturday, he got takeout from our favorite thai restaurant and desert from the bakery and a bottle of pinot noir (my favorite!) from one of the wineries we visited in Oregon a few years ago. But the Best present was that Mike did all the feedings with Oliver and I got to sleep for 8 glorious uninterupted hours! That hasn't happened since I was about 4 months pregnant!
But despite all these wonderful and thoughtful gifts, my happy baby is still the best birthday gift I could ask for.
